Outreach Worker*
Full time 36 hours per week Monday to Friday - 
£25,750 per annum
Occasional requirement to cover emergency on-call shifts (additional shift allowance paid)

Would you like to empower female survivors of domestic abuse and help them live a life without fear?  Working in our community-based service you will provide emotional and practical support, enabling them to reach informed decisions about their future. You will undertake risk assessments, produce safety plans, and liaise with statutory and other agencies.  In addition, you will facilitate group work programmes and take calls on our specialist helpline as well as deliver presentations in order to raise awareness.

You must:

  • Have experience of supporting individuals who have been affected by domestic abuse or other trauma, including signposting and working on a multi-agency basis.

  • Be well organised with good administration and IT skills along with a professional, calm and flexible approach to your work.

  • Have a full UK driving licence, a car that you can use for business purposes and live within a 45 minute driving distance of our offices in Woking.
