Outreach Triage Administrator

£14,292 to £14,875 pa (full time equivalent £24,500 to £25,500 pa) depending upon skills and experience
21 hours per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9am to 5pm)

Your Sanctuary is looking for an experienced administrator to work closely with our specialist Outreach Team, helping to empower survivors of domestic abuse to live a life without fear.

Based at our offices in Woking, this is an interesting and challenging role where you will review the outreach team inboxes, triage in-coming cases, and undertake general administration duties for the team.  As you will often be the first point of contact for survivors looking to access our services, you will need to be comfortable with handing sensitive calls and asking questions in an empathetic and non-judgemental way.  Assisting with case management administration, booking team meetings and group work programmes will also be part of the role.

Full training will be provided around risk assessing and signposting as these relate to domestic abuse.

You will need:

  • An excellent telephone manner, with the ability to manage complex and challenging calls

  • Strong administration experience, being able to demonstrate your ability to prioritise and organise your own workload

  • IT skills including Microsoft packages

  • A high level of attention to detail and understanding of confidentiality

  • Empathy and the ability to communicate calmly and sensitively

In return, Your Sanctuary offers training and career development opportunities, 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays (pro rata for part time staff), a contributory pension scheme, regular clinical supervision, access to an Employee Assistance Programme and a dynamic and engaging workplace.

The closing date is Monday 23rd September 2024 (5pm) although please note the post may be filled at an earlier date as applications will be considered upon receipt.

A full job description is below along with a covering letter detailing how to apply.  We welcome applications from Global Majority candidates.

*please note that because of the nature of the post it is open to female applicants only and is exempt under Schedule 9 (Part 1) of the Equality Act 2010.
